New Year's Day Haul (+Review)

Hey guys!

I'm gonna be doing a New Year's Day Haul today (plus a little review on the items!) There isn't a lot of items and they are pretty much make up products so I'm sorry if I'm boring you with my make up related posts (lately). I'm thinking of doing a make up collection post kind of thing because it was suggested by one of my viewers. What do you guys think? :)

P.s. Make Up Collection post would consist of showing you guys what make up products I own and how I store them! Plus a little tips & tricks on how to keep it neat and tidy ;)

Without further or do, I'll get straight into my New Year's Day Haul.

1. MAYBELLINE'S BABYLIPS LIP BALM

I couldn't decide which one to get and all of them looks so cute so I decided to get all of them! It makes my lips super soft and not chappy, which is awesome. There is a tint of color when applied to the lips which is perfect when you have a natural make up look on. Plus it makes you look more awake.
Something I don't like about this product is the packaging. I really don't understand why lip balms are made into this kind of packaging. Like honestly, it would be so much nicer and neater if they were packaged into lipsticks kind of packaging. (Ps the US packaging for babylips is in lipstick form of packaging. Check it out here: x x x ) Overall, I would give this product an 7.5/10

[ According to the picture above from left to right: Energizing Orange, Mixed Berry (Light Pink), Anti-Oxidant Berry, Mango Pie, Smoothing Cherry, Mixed Berry (Dark Pink) ]

2. Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butter

 (095 Creme Brulee^)

The lip butter is super moisturising and a good alternative for lipsticks. It is really creamy and glides perfectly on my lips however I have really really dry lips and I see the need of having to apply a lip balm before applying this. After using this product for a while, I noticed that the longer the product is being used, the messier it gets when trying to turn the product back in. It gets too creamy and a bit gross if you ask me. But nonetheless, I would recommend this product and rate it an 8/10.

3. Urban Decay Lip Junkie & Lip Balm by Diva

The Urban Decay Lip Gloss came together with my Naked 2 Eye-shadow Palette which is awesome but it isn't my favourite thing because it's a little sticky and I'm not a really big fan of sticky lip glosses (not that anyone is but..) so yeah. Nothing much to say about it. (Weirdest thing is that it claimed to be non-sticky. Maybe the weather that I'm living in is too hot and caused the lip junkie to melt? idk.)
The Lip Balm from Diva is amazing and it only cost me a dollar which is under-priced! I would totally pay like 20 bucks for this product. It's kind of surprising that the lip balms from diva is actually good because Diva is known for their jewellery and not really lip balms (or make up really..). It might look like a lipstick in the picture above but looks are deceiving! It has a slight tint of pink to it (as seen below). The colour lasts for quite long and I'm definitely going back to get more!

Retail Price (Lip Junkie): $19        Purchase it here: x x x

4. Urban Decay Naked 2 Eye Shadow Palette

I don't even know how to describe this eye shadow palette because it's beyond amazing. All the colours are so pigmented and the eye-shadows don't even crease when I don't apply an eye-shadow base! I am so happy with this product that I bought the first Naked palette and their latest Naked basics palette. It might be a little pricey but it's worth every cent. To be honest, I don't even know why I bought all 3 eye-shadow palettes when almost all of the colours inside is the same but.. I know that I'll be using all the colours and it can be like a back up in case I run out. Rating this an 9.5/10

Retail Price: $50.00        Purchase it here: x x x

Swatches of all the eyeshadow colors;

For all my Australian readers, My Chemist  is having a huge sales for Maybelline and Revlon products! There is almost 70% off all the products but it's ending real soon :) xx

Online stores having huge sales; (clicking on the links below brings you straight to the sales section x)

Thanks for reading guys! This is my opinion on the products but everyone has different opinions so it might not work out for me but it might work out for you :)

Catch ya later!
